Charity Setup and Registration

We can help you register your charity.  If your charity has over £5,000 income per year you need to register with the Charity Commission.  If you are a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) you must register from start-up irrespective of income.

Trustee Meeting Support

Arranging venues and overnight accommodation as needed.  Timetabling & Agenda creation. Arranging working menus, breaks, etc. Checking and paying invoices from the hotel.   Attending meetings, ensuring smooth run during the day. Taking minutes and update board on queries raised during the meeting if possible, particularly around finance and training events.  Writing up minutes and action point lists, and distributing to board members.

Bookkeeping & Finance Functions

From general book-keeping and micro-entity accounts to full monthly/quarterly management accounts and end of year accounts.  Arranging full audit through external auditors as required.  Checking all income being received through banks, PayPal and various donation giving platforms. Record, monitor and complete all gift aid claims ensuring best return for the charity.  We are also able to complete VAT returns and are set up for digital submissions.

Completion & filing of Charity Commission forms, Confirmation Statements, statutory register for trustees/directors, PSCs. Write & lodge Trustee Reports. VAT exemptions.

HR Support

We can provide general advice in respect of HR, keeping up to date records of annual leave, sickness, TOIL etc.  Can outsource HR to a company we work with, contact would be with ourselves providing the one-stop-shop for the client.  Can provide Payroll – again outsourced.

Event Management

Producing and managing the online booking process for events. Booking event venues, arranging delegate accomodation, and managing timetable and menues. Handling questions about events by potential delegates. Generating invoices for event places, and following up payments. Ensuring the smooth running of the event. If required acting as 'meeter & greeter'. Managing event materials, pre and post event. Making appropriate postings to the accounting system.

Membership Management

Full management of membership including receiving applications, database logging, membership dues process & reporting. Accessing client's database, ensuring that all records are current and up to date.  Activities also include chasing non-payers, and ensuring all information is managed in line with the charity GDPR policy and handling membership enquiries.  Updating and amending client discussion forum and send out invitations as necessary.
